Music Appreciation group have organised an evening of FOLK MUSIC and FUN and a PICNIC on Saturday 17th September 2011 in the Caldicot Choir Hall.
Tinkers Bag are a group of Friends that have been together since 1997 and have performed in many Folk festivals and concerts. They are known by many at Caldicot U3A because of the family connections with our member Myra Winter.
Their latest show “A Labourer's Year” is A year in the life of a labouring man using traditional song, music and dance. So come along with your family and friends for a very enjoyable evening and bring a picnic. Drinks will be available from the Bar.
The proceeds from this evening will be donated to the Daniel Black Trust to help raise funds towards financing the special care and equipment he will need for the future.
The Trust was set up after Dan aged 22 was left paralysed after a cycling accident whilst on his way to work in Tesco's Chepstow in December 2009. Dan now aged 24 is still in Rookwood Hospital in Cardiff
